I personally love to get my picture frames from the thrift store. I honestly probably have way too many. Typically, I look for shapes and sizes that I love, knowing that I can paint them if needed. However, it’s a lot easier if you don’t have to paint them, so keep an eye out for frames that you can just take home and use right away.
If you’d like to search for your own free art, start here. Some tips for finding good art…
- Be specific (i.e. autumn landscape painting)
- Use the word “painting” at the end of each search entry
- Sometimes there are weird photos that pop up, just as a warning, but I haven’t had issues using tips 1. and 2. above.
