This is probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Sounds dramatic, right? It’s not that bad, it’s just hard when you’re paying money for someone to do it and want it to look just right. Check out our exterior house plans.

Before

While this picture isn’t the official before, it’s where our house is at right now. I guess that’s not totally true… since this picture we’ve ripped out most of the bushes on the right side of the steps. Once the house is painted, we’ll be re-landscaping the front yard (and then the back). It all just needs a little love and attention.

The Inspiration/Plan

The colors we chose are Benjamin Moore colors. The house will be Revere Pewter, which is a warm light gray. We chose Chantilly Lace as our trim. It’s a warm, but not too warm white.

Our front door is already Gale Force by Sherwin Williams, but we will be having them paint the front door trim white with the rest of the house trim.

Look at the paint color combination I created with Benjamin Moore. Via @benjamin_moore. Siding: Revere Pewter HC-172; Trim: Simply White OC-117; Door: Newburyport Blue HC-155.

Curb Appeal DIY Details - Nesting With Grace

Of course, Nesting with Grace always inspires me. This was her house before they replaced their siding and chose a new color recently (she chose all white and I’m jealous a little, but anyway…). I love this look and while our house won’t be this color, I love the other elements at play here. Lots of great ideas for landscaping, front walkway, painted concrete steps (I got my inspiration from her), etc.

Anyway, stick around to see the progress on our house. We can’t wait to give it a fresh new look and can’t wait to show you all either. Stay tuned!

Thanks for reading, friends.
