Amazon Prime is a lifesaver, am I right or am I right? I’m sure that by the time you pay the yearly fee, the shipping isn’t actually free, but still. 2 days?? And sometimes it comes in 1 day. In other words, it’s worth the yearly expense, if you ask me.

This post may contain affiliate links, which means I make a small commission at no extra cost to you.
I will say, though, that if we didn’t have a Prime membership, I’d probably spend less money (don’t tell my husband that lol). It’s just so easy and they have everything you could ever need (and more).
Anyway, I recently coached a middle school girls volleyball team (this is year #6 for me) and guess what they got me for an end of season gift… wait for it… an AMAZON GIFT CARD. Like a big one! Life = made. Ok that’s a little dramatic maybe, but I love gift cards. Especially big ones to places I love.
I found a lot of really super cute things that I wanted to share with you guys. Everything is practical and affordable and straight from Amazon (almost all of it is Prime).
#1 – Recipe Box
How cute is this?? I have a constant battle with using color in my house, because there isn’t a color that is necessarily a favorite. But when I saw this cute little thing, SOLD. It just pops on the open shelves in my kitchen – but in a subtle way.
It also came with recipe cards and dividers to keep it nice and neat inside. Now to actually put real recipes in it!

#2 Batter Bowl
This is the cutest bowl I’ve ever seen. Nesting with Grace has/had one similar and I just knew I had to find one like it.
The outside is black, but the inside is creamy/white. Can’t get enough of this one. This is the kind of bowl that will probably be more on display that it will be used, because, well, just look at it. Anyway, if you can’t tell, I love it. 😉

#3 Woven Seagrass Basket
I was thinking this would be bigger than it is, but I also didn’t pay attention to the dimensions… So there’s that.
I ordered the small. I’ll still find a cute place for it, but I was hoping to put my Fiddle Leaf Fig in it. I think probably a medium or large would fit it. I’ll make sure to measure before I order it again though. Otherwise, super cute! And so affordable.

#4 Etched Glass Pitcher
It appears that the exact pitcher that I ordered is out of stock. I’m not sure if that’s temporary, but here is one very similar, by the same brand.
I think this pitcher is so so cute. Looks like it should’ve been way more expensive than it was. The only thing different than what I thought is that the handle is more an orange-y/yellow. I was expecting it to be gold. But luckily I still love it, because I’m not very good at returns 😉

#5 Rust-oleum Chalked Paint and #6 Matte Clear Finish
I always hesitate to paint anything these days, because with a 1 year old on the move, it’s a whole new ball game. This stuff is a game changer though. It takes half the time of a normal painting project, because with chalk pain you don’t need to prep.
The only thing I noticed is that it claims “one coat coverage”, but I had to do 2 for the most part. That could have been user error though, maybe I didn’t put it on thick enough. All in all, I’m a big fan.
I have yet to use the clear coat, but I should be using it in the next few days, so stay tuned for that.

#7 Black Bin Handles
When I bought these, I was originally thinking about using them in my kitchen. Change of plans, I didn’t end up doing that. So I had a bag of 12 handles with no home. I recently found a dresser for $30 that I wanted to redo, and these handles are perfect. The only problem is that I needed 20 handles total and I only had 12. So long story short, I ordered another pack (giving me 24 total) and the holes line up perfectly. Can you believe that? I think I’m still in shock 😉
The linked handles aren’t the exact ones I bought, but I honestly think they would be better. The handles that I bought came with tiny wood screws, so I ended up spending $10 more to get long machine screws/nuts and then spray painting the tops of those to make it all work. I still think it’s going to look so good, but definitely more work that way.

#8 Family Style Laundry Hamper
I’ve been on a mad mission to organize our house recently, simply because we just don’t have systems in place that are easy to keep up with, so we’re constantly needing to clean up.
One of our main problems was that we all 3 shared a tiny hamper that filled up in like a day and a half. And we don’t do laundry that often. So far this hamper has been amazing.
It didn’t come with instructions to set it up, but it wasn’t too difficult to set up and it holds so much more laundry than our old hamper. Now if laundry on the floor is a problem, it’s not the hampers fault…

#9 Tassel Pillow
Let’s be honest. This pillow is adorable. I really don’t think I need to say much more 😉
I have a bunch of IKEA down feather pillow inserts, so when I find a new cover to buy, you better believe I buy it! This way I’m not buying an endless amount of pillows, since the covers can just be folded up and stored in a drawer or wherever. Also, the covers all come with zippers, so you just zip your insert inside and you’re good to go!

#10 Montessori Toddler Book
This isn’t home decor related, necessarily… Even though the cover is adorable. But this book was such a good buy. Now that Miles is 1, he’s officially a toddler, pretty sure. He’s on the move, learning new things left and right. Starting to understand certain words and when we say them. Like “bye” when I put him in his carseat to leave the house. Anyway, I love this book and the outlook on toddlers and why they do certain things. It puts it all in a really beautiful way.
I’ve only really skimmed it so far and I really love what I’ve read. Great ideas to get your child involved in everyday things, so that they learn and grow.
