Farmhouse Pitchers
I love a classic farmhouse style pitcher. There’s already a few around my house, but somehow I desperately want like 200 more. 😉 They are so simple, perfect for flowers or even just stems from your backyard. I have a few that I love that I will link here, but I also make sure to grab them anytime I see them at the thrift store, etc. White dishes and pitchers are one thing you can never go wrong with. They are so timeless and work perfectly in any space. You can find two of my favorite farmhouse style pitchers here.

A Few of My Favorite Home Decor Books
To start off, I’d love to share a few of my favorite home decor books. These are books I go to when I need a little inspiration. I’ve read a lot of design books, and these are a few of my absolute favorites. They are simple, beautifully done and leave me feeling ready to jump into action and work on my next project. Check them out below!
#1 Welcome Home by Myquillyn Smith
This book is a solid favorite of mine. I relate to it in so many ways. Myquillyn, who goes by “The Nester”, calls herself a “Cozy Minimalist”. The idea that we can declutter and have a minimalist mindset, without the stark feel that often comes with true minimalism. I love this thought, as I tend to gravitate toward a cluttered house, but I really dislike the management that comes with that. When my house is cluttered, it feels like I’m constantly cleaning up. Who wants that? If you relate to this in any way, I highly recommend you get this book. It’s also gorgeous, so there’s that… You can grab Welcome Home here.

#2 Cozy White Cottage by Liz Marie Galvan
This book is super cozy, just as the title says. Liz Marie is the queen of cozy farmhouse. I love how cohesive her house and style is. She leans into a lot of warm whites, wood tones, linen and cotton, occasional green furniture (as you see on the cover). In this book, she shares 100 ways to love the feeling of being home. This book is full of great ideas to add cozy farmhouse charm to every space in your home. You can get Cozy White Cottage here. You’ll be so glad you did.

#3 Botanical Print Book
This book is amazing! I’m a sucker for a good botanical print, but to buy them already printed and framed can be pricey. It’s full of all different styles of botanical prints and they’re perforated to be torn out. I have torn the majority of them out by now and have framed most of them at some point. It’s so easy to swap them out for different prints as the seasons change. Find this Botanical Prints book here.

#4 A Touch of Farmhouse Charm by Liz Fourez
This was my first ever home decor type book. I love it! I remember when I first got it, I just probably hours just looking through it and feeling so inspired. This book is full of DIY project ideas, and it’s broken up into difficulty, so you can easily find projects appropriate for you based on your skill level. It’s full of a ton of really cute project ideas that you can easily recreate at home. There’s also plenty of inspiration to be had by simply flipping through it. You can grab A Touch of Farmhouse Charm here.

#5 Homebody by Joanna Gaines
This book is very educational. It helps you create spaces by walking you through necessities for each type of space. If you’re looking to learn more about how to put a space together, or you’re just looking for a really pretty book with some great tips, this is for you! This book is really big and it’s full of amazing photos of all sorts of different rooms. You can grab Homebody here.

Hats
While these types of hats are super cute to wear, they also look really cute hung on the wall. Whether they’re on a coat rack or simply hanging on a nail, they add a lot of personality to a space and really act as storage too until you’re ready to wear the hat next. Gotta love the practical aspect, right? Grab some hats for yourself and give it a try! You might already have some hats that would work, but if not, I’ve linked some like mine below.

Accordion Coat Rack
Some of you might remember these from your grandma’s house, but they’re back! These accordion coat racks are super trendy and cute. I love them because they give something practical and possibly boring some excitement and style. This coat rack is perfect for an empty wall in your kitchen, bathroom, entryway, etc. It looks super cute with the felt hats or really any other practical/pretty items. Here you can find the accordion coat rack that I have.

Striped Duvet
This striped duvet is a favorite of mine. When we first got married, we got a nice down comforter off of our registry. I can’t recommend investing in a down comforter enough. Over the years, I have collected several affordable duvet covers and am able to swap them out as I feel the need for something new. Currently, I have this striped duvet on our bed, and I love the simple and subtle touch of farmhouse style that it adds to our space. You can find my striped duvet cover here.

White Curtains
I love white curtains for several reasons. One being that they’re so neutral, I never have to change them when I’m switching up my space. Since they’re white, they go with anything. I’d say I’m pretty picky about curtains. They have to be 100% cotton or some sort of linen/cotton blend or I’m not interested. I never really love the way a polyester curtain looks, though I’m sure there are nice ones out there.
I typically buy IKEA curtains only, but throughout the last year or so, they’ve been either closed or not shipping certain items, which was disappointing as I needed all new curtains. Luckily, after some major searching on Amazon, I was able to find some that fit the look that I was going for. I found these white, 100% cotton curtains and I’m really happy with them! They just brighten up a room so much.
I will say, I think curtains can make or break a space (no pressure). It’s important to hang curtains higher and wider than your windows for several reasons. The first reason being that it will make your windows look larger. Secondly, your ceilings will actually feel taller. When you have 8′ ceilings, especially, it doesn’t hurt to give your ceiling the illusion of being taller than it is. You can thank me later 😉

Beeswax Candles
I love candles, but don’t love the amount of chemicals and toxins that come with them. Recently, I have been super into pure beeswax candles. Whether I make my own like I did here in this How to Make Beeswax Candles post, or buy already made tapered candles, I’m a big fan. You can find beeswax candles for yourself here.
If you’d rather make them, read How to Make Beeswax Candles here.
You’ll need these things to do so:
Yellow Beeswax Pellets or White Beeswax Pellets

Bamboo Drying Rack
Once again, when practical and pretty collide, it’s a beautiful thing (literally). Bamboo dish racks are a great example of this. For anyone who lets any of their dishes air dry, this is for you. We use ours often and love it. Usually we just set a tea towel underneath it and leave it out the majority of the time. It’s super functional and yes, super cute. You can find the bamboo drying rack here.
Rustoleum Chalked Paint
This stuff is the best. It’s affordable and works super well. If you’re new to the idea of chalk painting, you can find a blog post all about it here, How to Paint Furniture Using Chalk Paint – No Prep Needed. Basically chalk paint is all you need for any sort of furniture project. And the best part? You don’t need to prep anything if you don’t want to. Amazing, right?
You can find it Rustoleum Chalked Paint here.. You can find the Rustoleum Clear Coat.
