While the after is super pretty, check out the before!
Before
The before isn’t so pretty, that’s for sure. Check it out! One thing is for sure though, it got a lot of use! I bought this cutting board for $3.99. I really loved the look and the shape, so I decided to try to revive it.

After
I’m super proud to say that I successfully brought it back to life. And the really good news is that it barely cost me anything and was super simple. This is something that will look so pretty just propped up against your backsplash, laying on the counter with a plant and some cookbooks, you can use it as a cutting board (the most obvious one), or you can set up a pretty little charcuterie board if you’re hosting some friends. The possibilities are endless. I love when beauty and practicality collide.

I totally get that not everyone loves to DIY and that’s totally ok! If that’s you, no worries. I’ve put together a few links below for cutting boards that have the same look as this one, but without the project of it.

In case you’re looking at this and loving the cutting board, but you’re not totally into the DIY of it all, here are some cutting boards that are very similar to mine.

So… You might be wondering… What else can I do with a cutting board like this?
Well. Funny you should ask. I just happen to have several ideas for you. Imagine that 😉
- Obviously a cutting board 😉
- A Charcuterie board. Seriously. They’re so popular right now. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, do a quick Google/Pinterest search!
- This kind of thing looks so good propped up against your backsplash, with a few kitchen accessories in front. They’re really good for hiding outlets too.
Hope that was helpful!
