Sometimes thrifting is a hit or a miss. This time was a major “hit” and I’m so excited to show you what I found! Come check out my Fall Home Decor Thrift Haul!
Fall Home Decor Thrift Haul
Whenever I need home decor items, my first stop is the thrift store. I love finding a deal and I kind of love the hunt of it. Most of the time, though, the things I find from the thrift store are kind of random. Maybe I’ve been looking for something like it, but most likely I just happened upon it and decided I liked it.
I find that they key to thrifting is going often and keeping your mind open. Usually, I find that I’m not overly successful when I have something super specific in mind and only go every now and then. It can be a little bit of a hunt, but maybe you love that, like I do. I honestly was at the thrift store this time for something unrelated, and just happened to find quite a bit of cute, fall home decor. YAY. Check out my Fall Home Decor Thrift Haul below!

Cute wicker basket – $3.49
Every time I see a cute, quality basket at the thrift store, I try to buy it. Baskets are pricy brand new, but provide such a cozy look and honestly a lot of practicality. This basket has a white washed look, which I love, and I think it’ll be perfect to put a plant in (or really anything for organizational purposes). Here’s a woven rope basket to get a similar look.

Wicker Lamp – $7.99
This lamp stood out to me big time. I’m a big fan of the coziness that the texture brings. It felt perfect for fall. While I feel like $7.99 for one smaller item at the thrift store is a little on the pricier side, I felt like this lamp was worth it. It feels solid and quality, and I like the style of it a lot.
If you like the look of the wicker lamp, I found these two options that have a similar look. This one comes with a black shade, which is super cute. This lamp is also super cute.
I need to find a shade for it and I’m considering white/gray washing it, but otherwise, I love it!
Milk Glass Vases – $2.49, $2.99 and $3.49
I always love the look of these milk glass vases, but rarely do I actually buy them for myself. They’re timeless and classic. I love having vintage pieces in my house, and I love white, so these are perfect. I might just start a collection, because I think they’re the cutest. The best place to find these is probably your local thrift store, but here is one for your convenience.
Beige Wool Plaid Blanket – $5.99
I was so excited to find this throw. I actually had one in my Amazon cart the day before that was almost the same, but I didn’t end up buying it yet. When I walked into the Goodwill and found this, I was so excited. I’m not sure where I’ll put it yet, but I’m thinking it would be cute over a chair, on the couch, hanging from a coat rack… The list goes on. Super fun find!
While I can’t find you this exact one, I found this one from Amazon that’s almost identical. It’s affordable and has 4+ stars. So if you like this look, check it out!
Antique Bushel Basket – $5.99
Find of the century! Kidding, but come on. Look at it! Super cute and definitely old. I’m guessing it’s antique, but I do need to look into the stamp a little more to confirm that. I love that it has such a worn look though. My plan for this piece is to incorporate it into my decor somehow, whether that means putting blankets and pillows in it on the floor somewhere, or putting a potted mum in it, we shall see. What would you do with it? Tell me in the comments below! I’d love to hear. Here’s a new bushel basket. You can also find them at Hobby Lobby.
Farmhouse Throw Pillow – $4.99
While I usually don’t look for pillows at the thrift store, I will grab something nice every now and then if I see it. This pillow stuck out to me, because it’s cute and has a down insert. It also looks super clean and new. If it didn’t have a zipper on the case, I wouldn’t have bought it. But since it has a zipper, I can take the insert out and wash both the cover and insert separately to ensure they both get nice and clean.
My favorite way to do pillows is to buy a down insert like this and then purchase pillow covers as needed (with zippers) to swap out as I please. You can find two similar pillow covers here and here.
Gold Lamp – $4.99 (plus $3.49 shade)
I thought this lamp was super cute. And for under $10?! No brainer, I’d say. I think all of the lamps that I own are from a thrift store at some point. It just seems like the best way to get lamps. Especially if you’re not afraid of a little bit of spray paint.
I think this lamp is going to look super cute in my living room for fall. The gold color brings some major warmth and color, while still remaining neutral (my favorite type of decor). I also tend to find great, brand new condition lamp shades at the thrift store pretty often. And they’re usually super affordable. I would definitely recommend checking there first, before spending $20+ on just a shade alone (if you’re worried about budget, of course).
Check out these thrift store lamps that I re-did a few months back. They started out green/blue and brass. Yikes. Let’s just say it was a major transformation!
