When I find something I love, you better believe I’m going to share it with you guys. Here’s my Amazon Favorite Finds this week.

Bamboo Dish Rack

While I love things to always be cute, sometimes that isn’t practical. For the last little while, we’ve had a black dish drying mat here. It was functional, but kind of an eye-sore.

I was super excited to replace it with this, since it’s cute, but also very practical and functional. And actually more functional than the drying mat that was here before, since that was only one layer. You can find this bamboo drying rack here.

Edison Bulb Floor Lamp

Our old floor lamp basically fell apart… What I mean by that is that it was wobbly and needed to be tightened all over, but with a special little screw driver that I didn’t have. And then our 20 month old pulled the knob off and it’s never been found. Therefore, it wasn’t even functional.

That’s where this guy comes in! I was looking everywhere, but didn’t want to spend $100+ for a new one. I had my eye on one at IKEA, but they weren’t open yet and wouldn’t ship certain things that I needed. So, I resorted to Amazon, as always 😉

I found this super simple floor lamp for $30 on Amazon! I know it’s really simple, but still, I felt like that was a really good price. You can find it here.

Boho Tassel Pillow

See that cute tassel pillow on our sofa? Amazon! It was super affordable for just the cover, and I just used an insert that I already had.

The exact one I bought is currently unavailable… sad. But here is one that is very similar. And here is an insert that will fit.

How to Make a DIY Photo Ledge

Organic Cotton Blanket

I’m a sucker for all cotton blankets. I’m really not into synthetic fibers. I actually ordered this blanket first for our bed, but it got lost in delivery, so I ordered a new one. This one did eventually show up and it’s great to drape over a couch/chair in case it gets chilly. You can find it here.

Expandable Hooks

I’m obsessed with these and I know I’m not alone in that. They’re super fun and have finally made a comeback. I found a really inexpensive one on Amazon. You can find it here.

Nellie’s Oxygen Brightener

This stuff is amazing! I’m always a little skeptical of products at first, especially one like this. My whites tend to get so dingy over time, and washing them with detergent alone doesn’t seem to help. This stuff WORKS. Big fan. It’s also super clean, no harmful ingredients.

We have a white quilt that we’ve had for 4 years. Between 2 adults, 1 baby, 1 dog etc, it’s gotten a lot of use. It was looking really sad and almost had a gray tint (even after it was washed). We washed it with this stuff and it looks brand new.

You can find it here.

Flipping furniture has always been thrilling for m Flipping furniture has always been thrilling for me. Anybody else?! I love to find something at the thrift store that I know would be an easy profit.

These nightstands were pretty rough, but high quality with dove tailed drawers that still worked well. I used wood filler on the top to smooth out the water damage, sanded it off, and then painted them. I used rub n buff on the existing handles and I’m really happy with how they turned out!

I spent $60 on total supplies for them (including buying them) and sold them for $270. Pretty happy with that profit margin & the transformation too 🙌🏼
I used to flip furniture in high school for fun. I I used to flip furniture in high school for fun. I spent the majority of my time out in the garage refinishing furniture, sanding, painting, building random things.

Three things I’ve always loved…
1. Thrifting - I love the hunt!
2. Transformation - I love seeing a good before and after
3. Profit - I love making money. It’s always felt like a game to me

I hadn’t flipped anything in a while, but recently came across this chair and decided to give it a try. I got it from our local habitat for humanity restore for $3!!!! I staged it, listed it for $50 and it sold in 20 mins. Can you believe it?!

We have a few things that we’re saving for at the moment, and this can be a great method to help contribute.

Some things I specifically keep an eye out for are:
- dressers
- matching nightstands
- gold mirrors (or mirrors that could be painted gold)
- unique chairs like this, but they have to feel substantial where they could live on their own, in my experience

Getting the price right is the most important thing. You have to buy low and sell high or it doesn’t work. Keep an eye out FB Marketplace, neighborhood pages, your local thrift store. You can even reach out to friends and family and ask if they have anything to

***It’s important to
1. Know what sells
2. Know how much things could sell for
Before purchasing***

This cabinet has been really sad and random for the last… 6 months? 😂 it’s ridiculous really. But I just hadn’t been intentional enough to stop and give it my undivided attention. Of course, now that summer is half over, I decided today was the day to give it some major love and decorate it for summer. Loving the way it turned out. So fresh and clean feeling ✨ thanks to @thenester for her constant inspiration in my life 😂 for real though. Always inspired by her. Is there a space in your home that you’ve been putting off for way too long?!

We worked on designing these spaces for a month or so, and then we had 4 days to put it all together between our client’s closing and when they arrived at their new home. It was a whirlwind, but so so rewarding. Do you need design help with your home?! Let’s chat! 🤍🤍
